Alyson Munkley ND

Alyson Munkley is a board certified naturopathic doctor.

After graduating with an honours degree in Psychology and Health Studies from Queen’s University, Alyson pursued medical training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario, achieving the designation of Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) in 2004. She is a member in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario.

In her practice, Alyson blends modern diagnostics and traditional wisdom to develop treatment plans to help patients meet their health goals.  In the first appointment, a comprehensive intake and relevant lab testing are used to provide the best possible evidence-based holistic care to facilitate the healing process. 

Alyson has a special interest in women’s and pediatric health, digestive disorders, food sensitivities, immune support, and managing stress and anxiety, and is regularly pursuing continuing education to expand her knowledge base.  She frequently provides educational seminars for both corporate and public groups, and has been a contributor for publications including Glow, New Outlook, Now magazine, The Town of the Blue Mountains Courier Herald, the Meaford Express, and Our Neighbourhood, and was featured in the Toronto Star article “Food Intolerances Can Be Found With A Blood Test”.

Alyson is a compassionate practitioner who works with clients of all ages and a wide variety of health conditions. She is committed to achieving the best results for her patients, and has found that the most profound and effective healing occurs through the use of safe and natural therapies. Alyson is an active member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND), and Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND).
